Pump Up Your Workout With These Songs

My Workout Playlist

The day has come.  You packed your gym bag the night before so it is ready to grab on your way out to work.  Today is the start to a healthy chapter in your life.  As you lace up your sneakers and cram your belongings into the gym locker, you realize what you have done.  You left your ear phones on your bed side table next to that empty coffee mug that you so happily sipped on while checking blogs this morning.  We have all been there.  We race out the door and forget something important.  For me, if I forget my earphones, phone, workout clothes or lunch bag, it is going to be a crummy day.  That feeling you get as you sit on the el and remember what you have done is a terrible way to begin your day (you know that feeling!)

I don’t know about your gym, but the gym I belong to never plays music I like.  Techno music is just not my thing and nothing is less motivating than not listening to the music that puts you in your workout “groove.”  Without good beats I just stare at the time on the treadmill forcing myself to run for “just another 5 minutes.”  Where is the fun in that?

If you remembered your earphones at the gym today and are a lover of all kinds of music, here is my latest workout play list that will help put some pep in your step and make the workout fly by!
