This Hoppy Workout Will Get Your Heart Rate Up



Another Easter has come and gone.  We all indulged in the egg shaped Reese’s pieces and Cadbury eggs…Mmm.  Oh!  And my all time favorite: carrot cake.  Indulging a little bit around the holidays is good for the soul, however, getting in a good workout before and/or after you hit the buffet table or the boozy brunches never hurts.  Today I have a heart pumping, no equipment needed (unless you want to make the moves even more challenging) and sweaty workout in honor of this fun little holiday.


Hop Til You Drop Workout:


Set an interval timer (I use a Gym Boss) or just look at a stop watch/clock. Perform each exercise for 45 seconds with a 15 rest in between. Remember your form and, as always, it is not about quantity, but quality. Run through this workout 2-4 times. Get ready to sweat!


1. Jumping Jacks
2. High Knees
3. Jump Squats
4. Burpees (add a push up for good measure!)
5. Plank Jacks
6. Jump lunges (left)
7. Jump lunges (right)
8. Mountain climbers


This holiday themed workout is bound to burn off the chocolate and keep you feeling guilt free.  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend.  Keep working hard and be on the lookout for more workouts as bathing suit season creeps closer!
