To say I love food is an understatement. Cooking is never a chore to me; rather it is a stress-reliever, a hobby, a joy. I turned my hobby into a career and became a registered dietitian, with the goal of bringing that same culinary joy to others. Having studied both nutrition and journalism, I also enjoy reading and writing about food and am always looking for inspiration, motivation, and more culinary and nutritional knowledge. After studying in New England and working as a cookbook editor for several years, I moved to Chicago to experience a new city and try something new. My favorite foods include avocados and chocolate, though preferably not together. When I’m not busy searching for the perfect avocado, I can likely be found baking in my kitchen, running along the lakefront, or counting down until ski season.
