About Rudy . . .
I was born in California and moved to Texas when I was 7 years old. Being that my parents are from Central America, a lot of our food choices revolved around food that were exactly good for your mid-section. I took control of that aspect of my life in high school by avoiding foods that google said were bad and took up running. After high school, I got my certification in personal training as well as stated my Bachelors program. From there, I learned the science behind nutrition and exercise and was able to make a food and training regime that fit my lifestyle, and I was able to better educate my clients as I guided them toward their goals. I have an extensive rehab background that stemmed from the passion of helping individuals achieve their goals. I’ve worked in the worlds biggest medical center in Houston, Texas at one of the best rehab hospitals in the world. There I learned how to work with individuals with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, strokes and many more neurological disorders. I am currently one semester away from earning my Masters in Exercise Science from Northeastern Illinois University. I have a beautiful wife and 2 adorable pups, and we can be seen walking around downtown getting our steps in and enjoying spending time together.
