Kayla’s first experience with yoga happened in a movement class in college, and she didn’t even realize that it was yoga! A couple years later, when she took what she thought was her first class, she discovered that the asana and breathwork felt like coming home. She had already been teaching dance, theatre, and music, and learning how to teach yoga enhanced the way she moved and encouraged others to move. Her style is playful and exploratory, finding ways to build strength and stand taller while breathing fully and listening to the body. As someone who has dealt with chronic joint and wrist pain, she also believes every class should be accessible, and offers modifications to support and help anyone to feel successful.
