Bachelor in Business: double major in Marketing & Advertising with a Minor in Dance (Indiana State University, Terre Haute, IN)

About Tavia

Tavia has a minor in Dance from Indiana State University.  Tavia has family and roots from Puerto Rico so has been dancing Salsa, merengue, and bachata all her life. She has been trained in hip hop, jazz, modern and ballroom. She cofounded a hip hop dance organization in college that made appearances on television.

She has choreographed many weddings, quinceañeras and performances around the country including Chicago, Florida and New York. She was a professional ballroom Dancer for almost 5 years and also was a choreographer for a few children majorette dance teams in the city. Her passion has always been dance and she loves teaching. She believes dancing is just walking with style and thinks everyone has there own unique style that she loves to pull out of her students.
