“If you would have asked me 12 years ago to teach yoga, I would have probably laughed. I began my journey in healing movement in 2009 with NIA and yoga and other free forms of expressive movement. In the process of my own transformation, I gained more knowledge and understanding of the power of self healing through movement. So for me being apart of the LGBTQIAPK POC community, I felt that healing movement
work needed to be a vital part of POC growth and healing. In 2017 I set my intention on becoming a conduit of healing for not only the LGBTQIAPK, and POC community, but for the whole world.Bridging the gaps in community’s and the world with power of movement.(The time for action is now) Cut to today, and I’m more in love with yoga, and I have become a yoga instructor. My practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and more fearless, both on and off the mat, yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully.I completed my 200 hour Sivananda TTC in November of 2018 I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me.In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing to help you reconnect with the body. Using a spirit of playfulness and a healthy dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. I seek to help others honor and live by nourishing the body, mind and soul with yoga and sound. My hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, in touch with your body,and nourished and balanced.”
