Marsha Madrigal was raised in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from Howard University with her Bachelors in Community Development and Criminology she moved to Chicago in Fall of 2021. In January, Marsha earned her Group Fitness Instructor Certification from the American Council of Exercise.
Marsha has nine years of swimming and two years of weight training experience. She was on the swim and water polo team in high school and continued to play water polo in college. Her favorite stroke is butterfly. Marsha has been teaching children and adults how to swim since 2019. As a swim instructor, it is Marsha’s goal to ensure her participants are learning new swim skills as well as having fun in the water. As a group fitness instructor, Marsha’s goals are to encourage and support her participants achieve and master their fitness goals. In addition, she enjoys seeing her participants’ self- esteem and body awareness increase after taking group fitness classes consistently.
