About Heather
Heather embarked on her yoga journey ten years ago when she discovered the power of yoga and a good savasana had on not just the body but the mind and soul as well. In 2015, she packed her bags and traveled to India where she completed her 200 hour teacher training in Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga. Since then, Heather has shared the gift of yoga with the world and in the present day, incorporates yoga into her work as a licensed professional counselor where she takes a trauma informed approach to her classes in her work with individuals with mood and trauma disorders. Heather sees the practice of yoga as a tool to deepen the relationship with our own bodies, minds, and souls in order to live more authentic, whole, and meaningful lives. Heather also sees yoga as a way to connect with our playful and creative side and encourages her students to connect with that in their practice through trying new things and moving how the body wants to move, even dancing if the body wants to dance. Expect to flow without rules, increase self love, and nourish your soul when flowing with Heather.
