About Jenny . . .
Jenny was a born and bred Midwest girl. It wasn’t until she found herself living in Texas for a while for her IT job, that’s she decided to study and eventually received her 200-hour yoga certification. Her background coming to yoga was more from a fitness perspective. She danced ballet professionally in a previous life, which led to teaching group fitness and eventually found her way into a yoga class. She was one of those that did not like yoga at first. It took at least 20 classes before she found the magic of yoga, but once she did, there was no turning back. In her own practice, she uses a more ‘power yoga’ type of focus and will combine those elements when students are seeking that when she teaches, but she has found that a light and easy approach with more of a hatha/yin/restorative focus is where the magic of yoga resonates for most students. Finding that balance and getting out of your yoga practice what you need is a journey that she is deeply honored to be able to witness with her students. She can’t wait to see you on the mat!
