The Relax Pack

Stress can be debilitating, and it can cause and/or aggravate health problems. And since stress is a normal part of human existence — nobody is immune to it — it’s important to arm ourselves with knowledge so that we recognize when stress rears its ugly head. (Amazingly, we don’t always notice it’s happening to us.)  Stress Awareness Month happens each April, which is a perfect time to host a Relax Pack or Individual Stress-Reduction Services.  It’s important to learn some strategies for coping with this particular silent scourge. 


During the Coronavirus Pandemic, more people are experiencing stress now more than ever.  We have taken our Relax Pack to a full virtual platform, which also allows us to reach individuals outside of the Chicagoland region.

Stress-Reduction Nutrition Virtual Presentation

The foods that we eat play a large role in stress reduction. Choosing healthy foods you can actually impact your mood on a positive note, helping to relieve tension, stabilize blood sugar, and send your stress packing. Our Registered Dietitian will lead participants through a demonstration of our TOP Foods to eat to help reduce stress, and its related health concerns.

Meditation will allow participants to release the stresses of daily life. In a 45-minute virtual class, individuals can expect to lie down or sit comfortably, close their eyes, and be guided through a calming meditation that is intended to help them sharpen their mind, connect to their spirit, and relax their whole being.








Virtual Yoga

Yoga connects the mind, body and spirit.  Originating in India, this practice includes breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, which is scientifically proven to benefit overall health and stress levels.  This virtual class is 60-minutes in length.
