She was first introduced to yoga in high school through an elective class, and from that point on, she knew she wanted yoga to remain a part of her life. After graduating from college, she attended SWIHA for her Yoga Teacher Training and continued her studies through advanced yoga teacher training, Reiki, Polarity Therapy, and Cranial Unwinding. Through these practices, she developed a deeper understanding of the connection between yoga and energy healing, and how both can teach us to hold space for ourselves, reconnect with our bodies, and become more aware of what we need.
Her teaching approach focuses on body-mind awareness, safety, modifications, and creating space for students to recenter. Her classes are inclusive and adaptable to all levels, honoring each person exactly where they are.
She understands that everyone comes to yoga for their own reasons. Her hope is that each class offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and experience relaxation and self-care. In a society that often teaches us to keep pushing through, even when our bodies are asking us to pause, she invites students to listen to their bodies, honor where they are each day, and move at their own pace.
