About Sasa

Sasha Vulovic is a native of Washington state who moved to the Midwest in 2011 and has since been adjusting to the winters. A professional b-girl/hip hop dancer and performing artist, she owes much of her performance background and development to her years in Detroit immersing herself in its creative communities centered around street dance and physical theater (particularly the dance crew and company Hardcore Detroit, and theater company the Hinterlands with whom she mentored for several years). She moved to Chicago in 2018 to pursue further professional performance opportunities, and graduated the Professional Training program of the Actors’ Gymnasium in 2019. She now instructs ballroom dance to adults and both social circus and/or hip hop classes to youth. When she is not working or teaching, Sasha finds any opportunity to be near the beautiful Lake Michigan. Sasha is certified by NASM in personal training.
