About Brooks

Brooks has been swimming since 2018 when he became certified as a lifeguard. He swam on his high school team, continuing to swim for exercise to present day. He has guarded for 8 years and continues to hold a valid certification. He has taught at two different swim schools, gaining experience with babies all the way to grown adults. Brooks is passionate about building comfort in the water; safety is always the first priority, but trusting the water is the next step. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree at DePaul. In his free time, Brooks enjoys playing piano, riding his bike, and finding good food.
