About Emma

Emma began practicing yoga in college as a way to find calmness and stillness in a stressful environment. After college, it soon became an anchor in her life as she began her social work career working with children and families who experience severe trauma. She completed her 200-hour YTT in Costa Rica to incorporate both her mental health background into yoga work.

Emma combines her passion for vinyasa and trauma-informed yoga to create flows unique to an individual’s needs. Using an understanding of what someone has been through, and incorporating meditations and specific poses to guide students into stillness and finding compassion for themselves is the ultimate goal. She believes yoga is much more than what is done on the mat, and can be incorporated into all parts of life.
