Introducing the 7 Chakras: The Crown Chakra
May 19, 2025The next and final chakra in our Introduction to the 7 Chakras series is the seventh main energy center, the Crown Chakra, or Sahasrara in Sanskrit. Sahasrara translates to “thousand-petaled,” representing the thousand-petaled lotus flower. The Crown Chakra brings a connection to universal consciousness, unity, wisdom, and self-knowledge. With an emphasis on enlightenment, the Crown Chakra relates to a deeper understanding of oneself and the world.

2. Plug the right nostril with the right thumb and inhale through the left nostril.
3. Close the left nostril with the ring finger, release the right nostril, and exhale through the right nostril.
4. Inhale through the right nostril, close the right nostril and exhale through the left nostril.
5. Continue alternating nostrils for several rounds.
